Description
By sourcing quality fabrics, the Equilibrium Field Relief Midi Horse Fly Mask with ears is long-lasting and carefully designed to fit a wide range of horses and ponies.
Comfort in the Field Relief Midi Horse Fly Mask with ears.
As fly masks are often worn for large periods of the day, the Midi Horse Fly Mask with ears is designed to be as comfortable as possible.
There are adjustable fastenings under the cheeks and behind the ears of the fly mask. This ensures the perfect fit and stops any nasty insects getting inside.
It features soft sponge padding located on the nose and brow areas. This means that these areas, which sit close to the horses skin, are kept rub free.
The ‘horse-shaped’ ears provide ample space for your horse whether they have small or large ears.
Lastly, the Midi Horse Fly Mask with ears features strategically placed darts. These darts are positioned on the front of the mask and keep it clear of the eyes and eyelashes.
UV protection rating.
When looking at every detail, it seemed fitting to ensure that our Field Relief Fly Masks have UV protection. It not only protects the horses eyes (think of sunglasses), but also some parts of the face which can be particularly susceptible to sunburn. While most sunburn is seen in pink skinned horses, it is still seen in darker horses too.
The mesh of the Midi Horse Fly Mask with ears provides over 70% of the sun’s rays.
Customising your horse fly mask.
We’ve introduced additions to the Field Relief range to allow you to customise the fly mask to yours and your horses needs. If you’d like to add a nosepiece to this fly mask, take a look at our Detachable Nosepiece. If your horse is bothered by the flies but doesn’t need UV protection, you might want to consider the Muzzle Fringe instead.
Our fly masks all carry a one year guarantee but most last for several seasons. Long lasting and easy to wash, the Field Relief Midi Fly Mask comes in a variety of sizes from ponies to large horses. The Midi Fly Mask also provides excellent visibility so is ideal for veterans, visually impaired and spooky horses! Also available, Field Relief Midi without ears.

The midi fly mask is an essential part of my horses summer wear, it does exactly what it says it will, is super value for money and my horses don’t object to wearing it. I would not use any other fly mask

I like the eye clearance on this mask, also the fit around the jaw allows my horse to graze in comfort

I have used several versions of these masks over 8 years on various size equines. The original mask lasted 7 years/ summers. Robust and a good fit. Wash well and I can dry them overnight on the boiler if needed. The optional fringe attachment stays on and works well.

I got offered to product test this mask , so i agreed and when it arrived i was super impressed with the quality and design yet it was still tough and comfortable. The horse i used it on likes to scratch his masks off and this mask passed the test!! He hasn’t managed to get it off once and it’s super secure with two different places to adjust the fit which i’ve never seen before and i think it’s great! It also looks really nice and is most importantly extremely effective. And the hidden velcro to attach either the fringe or a nose piece is a great idea! Overall this is an amazing price for an amazing fly mask. If i ever need another fly mask i know where i’ll be looking!!

I just wanted to say I bought the Field Relief® Midi Fly Mask with ears at badminton this year as my horse has not got on with any other fly mask properly, either getting them off or irritating her face.
The Field Relief® Midi Fly Mask has been an absolute god send, it doesn’t rub, there’s plenty of space for her eyes, its comfortable for her to wear and protects her face perfectly especially her eyes.
With the extreme heat we’ve endured recently and the sheer volume of flies I couldn’t have asked for a better product. It Is true what they say, you get what you pay for!

“My mare has keratitis which I prevent by shielding her eyes from the sun using Equilibrium fly masks. They are ideal and allow her to spend sunny days outside instead of stabled which she hates.”
