Equilibrium Massage Therapy Pad Review. So here is the long awaited review. Now this review can be a 100% reliable review for anyone who is interested. I’ve had and used this massage pad since the 15th of May (almost exactly two months ago). This pad has been a really game changer for me and my horses. It’s an unbelievably handy product to own and is 110% worth the investment, I promise you that. It has helped with so many issues my horses have had and really made and still continues to make them feel really good about themselves. I’ll start with my pony Teddy, he’s a chunky little cob with a huge attitude, a real character. He HATES being clipped, he hates the vibrations and the noise (we’ve tried quite clippers too and he flipped). I was a little hesitant and nervous to use it, purely because it being a pad that literally vibrates the body and is actually strapped to him. What does he do? Stands there like a pro, completely enjoying himself. He was curious and did turn to have a wee look and try to process that he’s weirdly vibrating. Teddy can now go on all three settings no bother. He absolutely LOVES the high setting, he genuinely falls asleep. One day I had to give him a wee nudge as he was literally falling! I started all the boys on the low setting and just short ten minute sessions, just to make sure they all accepted it, which they did! The massage pad gives you three settings, low, medium and high. Low is recommended for cooling down muscles, medium is more so to help warming up muscles and high is to help alleviate back problems. The massage pad arrived well packaged, the pad it’s self is wrapped in bubble wrap and the battery and charger are packaged individually in their own little boxes and wrapping. The pad comes in it’s own bag and inside of it, there is little pockets for your charger, battery and little booklet to store safely. I’d like to also mention how much of an impact this massage pad has been on our new guy Grafite. Gaffy has had a hard past and he’s very much so the biggest stress head you’ll meet. He’s got a lot of issues, biggest being a weak back and stress. The massage had been unbelievably successful for these issues. If Gaffy is stressed, I just chuck the pad on. It relaxes him and calms him down. The massage pad has really helped with his work. As said previously, he’s got a bit of a weak back. This massage pad along with work has strengthened his back enough that I can now ride him without worrying he’s sore or can’t manage. He gets a twenty minute session on medium before either a lunge session or hack. That will relax him and rule out any stress. He then will give me a good session because of this. I

I exercise my retrained racehorse, Stilo Blue Native, in the blue Impact Sports boots daily; whether hacking, schooling or lunging, I can trust this product to provide ultimate protection during work. As a show horse, it is vital that Blue remains clean in his limb and I believe these boots provide splint bone protection and support during more intense work and when schooling on harder ground. The boots are easy to put on and are so stylish – I love the bright blue colour – but aside from being attractive, they are practical and hard wearing. The velcro is so strong and the boots don’t move out of place yet it seems almost impossible to over-tighten them and they just mould to the horse’s leg. I always work my horses in boots that are breathable and have always worried about legs over-heating and causing unnecessary damage. When removing these boots after exercise my horse’s legs are dry and cool to the touch, proving that they are breathable like advertised. Furthermore, when enjoying fitness work in the fields, I don’t have to worry about my boots becoming muddy, damaged and stained in winter conditions as the boots hose off clean and look brand new, and the velcro has remained super sticky whether in sand schools or wet fields. In the past, I have always deliberated about what size boots to purchase and if I needed to buy a larger size for hind limbs. These boots are buyer friendly and sizes are stated. As I make the shift from showing to showjumping with my horse in the next few seasons, I will be sure to continue to use these boots during home schooling sessions, lessons and when out competing.

“If anyone has been like I was towards this product, then you’ll have raised your eyebrows at the price and walked back out the door (£12.99 for 1.5kg, 30 days supply at 50grams/day – my thoughts being that I’d need the whole bag to encourage my lad to eat up). However, after having to deal with a convalescent, fussy eater for the last few weeks that would touch nothing I put in front of him, who picked out anything I put in to make it taste better (even mint and garlic wouldn’t entice him!), I thought ‘hell, I may as well’ – if it “Makes dull feeds yummy” AND can “tempt picky eaters to eat up” then my life would have been made a hell of a lot easier. The free scoop does entice slightly here ;} I selected the bag containing carrot, parsnip, pea, courgette and beetroot (the idea of feeding raisins to my lad is not an option, which is what the other selection offers), adding around 70 grams to kick start him off not really expecting great things… but low and behold the bucket of food disappeared before my very eyes, medication and supplements, the lot! For a Shire he is quite demanding on the food he will and will not eat unless there is something a little special in there! So If anyone else is dealing with a difficult to feed horse, then I highly recommend this product – Equilibrium seem to have gotten this right as well as being low in sugar and adding a nice probiotic to keep the tummy happy!” “A very happy customer!”

This is an amazing, versatile piece of kit that is quickly becoming part of the horses’ daily routine. I have noticed a huge difference in their work since beginning to use the massage mitt, with both horses feeling much looser and more relaxed in their work. I also own an Equilibrium Massage Pad which I love, but I think the massage mitt is great because you can target specific area that may be carrying tightness or just go for an all-round massage which both horses love! It has particularly helped my 7 year old Connemara who was quite tight in her poll, but after a month of regular massages targeting this spot, I have noticed a huge improvement in her work. Now she is loose and supple, she is coming on masses and will be very exciting for the future! My massage mitt is also an essential part of kit to take to events. I always use both the massage mitt and the massage pad before the dressage and I find it helps to relax my highly-strung eventer and prepare him for the dressage. Last weekend we travelled 2 and a half hours to an event, however after an all over massage, he came off the horsebox loose, relaxed and supple to perform a personal best dressage of 29.8! He felt amazing which was great after so much travelling! The massage mitt is easy to use with a simple control panel and runs on 10 minute cycles. This is a perfect amount of time as it means it is convenient for you to fit in, yet the horses still get a suitable length massage. It cleans easily, with just a wipe of a damp cloth, and is easy to hold and use meaning you don’t get arm ache! It also comes in a sturdy bag which is great for transporting it safely. The only con would be it’s hard to tell how long you have been using it for as to when to move on to the next set of muscles. Lastly (and most importantly!), the horses love it! It is a great way to spoil them and help keep them in the best shape possible, whilst spending some time pampering and bonding with them. It is a very well made product, great value for money and definitely worth investing in!

“I received a set of these boots as part of winning the Rising Star Competition and I love them. They are so lightweight and flexible but they still offer a huge amount of protection to the horses legs. They have a great fit and don’t slip at all. I was especially impressed one of my horses has very sensitive legs and can get rubbed very easily but the boots fitted him perfectly. Before using these boots I had noticed my horse’s legs getting very sweaty under normal brushing boots. Being aware of the damage this can cause to tendons I was keen to try something new with more ventilation. The first time I used the All-Sports Boots I was very pleased to find that my horse’s tendons hadn’t heated up at all after work. Especially for a boot that offers so much protection they have amazing ventilation and the horses love them! Both my horses now do all of their work at home in All-Sports Boots and I can feel confident that I am giving them the best protection at all times. They are amazingly versatile and I use them for hacking, schooling and jumping. They also work as a brilliant cross country boot. As they are so lightweight the horses barely notice them when they are jumping and they don’t hold any water at all cross-country. One set fits both my 14.2hh Connemara and my 16hh event horse. They get used for at least 2 hours a day and still look brand new. Lastly, they wash amazingly and dry very quickly. I can hose them of in the evening and they are dry and ready to use by the next morning! An essential for any tack room and I would recommend them to anyone for whatever they are doing. I’m definitely a convert from traditional brushing boots now!”
