Size Matters

This size guide has been designed to help you select the right size. The sizes here are for the average type of horse or pony and should suit most breeds. However if there is a non standard type of horse/pony that does not fit the guidelines below, please call us on 01442 879115 for additional size advice.

Fitting Horse Boots, Wraps and Chaps

Tri-Zone Boots

Boots do not need to fit as closely to the horse's legs as wraps or chaps, but care must still be taken when selecting what size the horse needs. To measure the horse's leg, simply measure the circumference of the cannon bone at the mid point and follow the sizing guide below to determine which size the horse requires. Getting the correct size for the horse will provide him with the maximum level of comfort and protection.

Stretch & Flex Wraps

Measure the horse's leg as described above, and refer to the size chart below for the size of wrap your horse needs.

Equi-Chaps

Getting the correct size is so important with chaps. If they are too big, they will slip down or allow mud to get under the chap, too small and stress will be exerted on the seams leading to splitting.

Fitting Fly Masks

It is vital that there is good eye and eyelash clearance in order for the Fly Mask to be comfortable for the horse, pony or donkey. All of our masks have adjustable straps but the darts over the eyes and ear lengths are fixed.
