William Fox-Pitt Takes His 9th Victory At Bramham Horse Trials in the CIC***

We are delighted to announce that our sponsored rider, William Fox-Pitt was the winner of the 2014 British Equestrian Trade Association CIC*** at Bramham Horse Trials riding Chilli Morning owned by himself and Christopher Stone.

William added only 5.6 XC time penalties to his 31.5 dressage score to take the lead, with 9.1 faults between him and second place rider, Dee Hankey riding her own Chequers Playboy. Belgian Karin Donckers took third place with Fletcha van ‘T Verahof.

William said “He’s been in great form and hasn’t put a foot wrong all week – he was ‘in the zone’. After a fairly miserable day, he was a bit quiet when I got on and he always go better if his blood is up but as soon as we started, he picked up. We’ve achieved what I wanted; it was a nice run with enough to do.”

William also achieved 3rd place in the very close Equi-Trek CCI*** riding Lady Best and Jane Keir’s Freddie Mac with a score of 47.80, less than 2 faults between him and leader Aoife Clark on Fenyas Elegance with Izzy Taylor taking second on Orlando.

Congratulations William!
