About Anthony

Antony is a full time dressage coach and trainer with over 30 years experience. He and his partner, Matt, run the Victorian Dressage Stables where they produce dressage horses to national level competition and provide a coaching and training service to a varied clientele.

Antony has produced several horses to FEI level and is particularly drawn to competition riding and young horse classes. He has great success in assisting clients achieve their competitive goals with effective training and a positive outlook.

Antony currently has eight horses in full time training in addition to providing coaching to some 30 clients per week.

In 2011 Antony was approached by Bloomfield Farm to take on the training of their three stallions, San Rubin, Fiderstern and Furst Love in order to prepare them for exhibitions and yearly auction.

He has trained with many International trainers including Debbie MacDonald, Bjarne Elfsen, Claire Ballantyne, Ulf Moler and the late Joe Stapleton. Antony is regularly requested to demonstrate at Dressage Judges training seminars, as testament to his competition riding ability.

He currently attends regular training sessions with Dr Ricky MacMillan and Maree Tomkinson, and has “eyes on the ground” with his life partner, Matthew Archibald.

• 2009 3rd Dressage with the Stars with Lexington Nite Kap

• 2009 Victorian Dressage Championship Reserve Champion Novice horse with Lexington Nite Kap

• 5th in the National Young Horse Championships 2010 with Kaptain Jack
